The Sydney Swans VFLW side secured a commanding 63-point victory over the Box Hill Hawks on the weekend, securing their fourth win in the rebel VFLW competition.

The red and white have been dominant over the past four-weeks, with victories over the Bulldogs, Kangaroos and Demons, and Sydney Swans AFLW coach Scott Gowans continued to show intent by naming a complete AFLW-listed side for the contest.

Ally Morphett was strong in her return to the action, with a game high 22 disposals and 27 hit outs while Bella Smith continued to impress this competition with four goals as Sydney secured a dominant 12.10.82 to 3.1.19 victory.

Tanya Kennedy and Montana Ham saw plenty of the footy with 22 disposals and five tackles each, while Lauren Szigeti (19 disposals, six tackles) and Lisa Steane (17disposals, two tackles) were busy in their return to the side this week.

Chloe Molloy continues to show her class with two goals, 18 disposals, five tackles while Cynthia Hamilton (2 goals, 15 disposals), Montana Beruldsen (2 goals, 16 disposals) also impressed in the forward line.

New faces Sarah Grunden and Giselle Davies also kicked majors.

The Swans VFLW side will host Collingwood at Tramway Oval in their final game of the 2024 rebel VFLW competition. It will be a great opportunity for red and white members and fans to see the team up close before the AFL Sydney Derby against GWS at the SCG.

The 2024 NAB AFLW Season will commence during the final week of August, with opening round set to coincide with the AFL season's pre-finals bye. The countdown to the side's official pre-season begins on Monday, June 3 but players have begun returning on their own accord to begin their preparations ahead of the 2024 season.
