Star forward Lance Franklin spoke to the media ahead of training on Wednesday morning to launch Marn Grook at the SCG.

Look at some of the key quotes from this morning's press conference.

Friday night’s blockbuster clash
“North are undefeated this season so it is going to be a big challenge for us to get the win but we can’t wait to get out there on Friday night in front of a big crowd at the SCG. It is going to be a cracking game.”

Celebrating Indigenous Round
“It is a really special game. It is a night I love to play in front of a big crowd. It is just a special round to recognise what indigenous players bring to the game.  I can’t wait to get out there on Friday night. It is a really special night for everyone involved.”

On potential of a 100 goal season
"I think it can be done, but who knows who it will be – there's a lot of guys kicking a lot of goals. To get 100 goals would be an unbelievable effort, but you've got to play consistently well over the course of the year. Play is opening up and there's one-on-ones happening, and as you can see this year, blokes have kicked bags of goals. I think that's what people love to come to the football to see."

Do you want to be an indigenous role model
“It is something that I will grow into as the years go on. Goodsey and Micky O were great role models for myself and people I look up to so I think will grow into that.”

Are you in career best form?
“I am enjoying it. I don’t know whether it is my career best form at the moment but I am enjoying my football at the moment. I am enjoying getting out there and winning games of football. I have always enjoyed football but it is just great to be back out there enjoying football.”

His favourite indigenous players growing up
“Goodesy was one of them and I was fortunate enough to play a couple of years with him. Andrew McLeod and Michael Long were unbelievable athletes and great players of AFL. I was fortunate enough to play with Goodesy for those couple of years so I am very grateful for that.”

How to beat North Melbourne
“We need to play our brand of football which is hard and contested football. We want the ball going out way to be able to kick a good enough score to be able to win.”

What opponent will come to him
“I am not too sure what the matchup is going to be at the moment but both Scott Thompson and Robbie Tarrant are terrific footballers. They are very strong and fast so I am looking forward to playing on one of them."
