The Sydney Swans Football Club sends its condolences to the family of former South Melbourne player, Chris Elliott.
Elliott passed away recently, at the age of 63, following a long battle with dementia.
Recruited from Benalla, Chris played 8 games with the Swans between 1976-77 before returning to Benalla to enjoy an illustrious local football career.
His final match with South Melbourne was the 1977 Elimination Final against Richmond.
