RHYCE Shaw and Ryan O'Keefe are in line to return for the Sydney Swans' round two clash with Fremantle.

The pair missed the Swans' 63-point season-opening win over Greater Western Sydney on Saturday night due to injury, but coach John Longmire expects at least Shaw will be back in two weeks' time.

"Rhyce Shaw is a big chance to play in that game. And Ryan O'Keefe is a chance. I'm not sure how big a chance as yet, but he's a chance," Longmire said.

Gary Rohan copped knocks to his shoulder, ankle and head - the latter the most notable when he clattered into teammate Jude Bolton and was knocked senseless - but played out the game.

Luke Parker, who also copped a heavy hit in the first quarter when GWS veteran James McDonald came off the line to iron him out, was subbed out in the third term.

Longmire was confident both had avoided serious injury.

"He (Parker) had a bit of a sore head for a while there, but he came back on and played. We just subbed him because we had Harry Cunningham on the bench," he said.

"He (Rohan) played with a few knocks but got through the game really well."

The Swans now enjoy a two-week break before hosting Fremantle at the SCG.

Longmire will give his players the weekend off, but Swans midfielder Kieren Jack confirmed it would be a testing week on the training track.

"John mentioned before that it's important that we train hard this week, so I'm tipping some pretty solid sessions during the week," Jack told SwansTV.

"We've got the weekend off to really freshen up, and then we'll get into Fremantle."

Experience the passion when the Sydney Swans play their first home match of the 2012 Premiership Season at the Sydney Cricket Ground against Fremantle on Saturday April 7 from 2pm.
