The Sydney Swans VFL side will be in action for their Round Four clash with the Gold Coast Suns this Sunday.

The clash is the perfect opportunity for Swans members and fans to see the young red and white talent coming through the ranks, with the fixture a curtain-raiser on the SCG ahead of the AFL fixture against the Suns.

The VFL side enter the game with a 1-1 record with a victory over Coburg and a narrow loss to the Richmond Tigers in the opening fortnight.

VFL senior coach Damian Truslove has named a side with plenty of experience in Peter Ladhams and Aaron Francis as well as young talent Jaiden Magor and Caiden Cleary. Truslove also welcomes back AFL list players Angus Sheldrick, Joel Hamling, Corey Warner, Caleb Mitchell and Jack Buller.

Despite a loss to Richmond Magor was influential across the ground with 28 disposals while former QBE Academy product and 2023 draftee Caiden Cleary also found plenty of the footy with 24 disposals and six tackles.

The Sunday morning match will prove to be valuable experience for the young side against the 2023 VFL Premiers.

First bounce is at 9:05am before the AFL fixture at 1:05pm.
